KANHA-PENCH, CENTRAL INDIA
We examined distribution of Bengal fox or the Indian fox in the forest-scrub-agriculture landscape matrix between and Kanha and Pench reserves. This is the first of its kind, spatially rigorous landscape-scale study of bengal foxes in India. We also examined patterns of bengal fox predation on domestic poultry, and the spatial determinants of these attacks. The full paper based on this study can be downloaded from here.
